oung Lourda Scott from Clean Coasts North Wicklow has been on the blower, about their imminent return.

Meeting monthly, this gang of highly-motivated hand-to-sand warriors will be sweeping across Greystones’ shoreline.

And generally picking up other people’s rubbish.

Set to meet on the last Sunday of each month, the place is Rise At The Cove, the time 10am, and the main aim is to get a jolt of coffee and a zap of feelgood.

Equipment is provided, and everyone is welcome. Even you.

Last year, the gang picked up 200kg of litter from the beaches in Greystones. So, if you’re missing any bottles or wrappers for one of your seafront jaunts last year, you know where to find it.
