t’s always been too great a struggle to join The Happy Pear gang for one of their regular smugrises down at The Cove.
The idea of greeting the sun whilst shivering in The Irish Sea just doesn’t strike us more as self-flagellation than self-realisation.
Still, if we’d known in advance that the rather beautiful Elle McPherson was taking a dip with the Flynnstones, there’s a tempted-verging-on-probable chance we would have set our alarm.
The Australian supermodel was in town to take part in Dave and Stephen’s podcast, which just so happens to have been postedtoday.

With a record five cover appearances for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, McPherson was dubbed The Body by Time magazine in 1989. The move into business and media has meant that the 58-year-old model, TV host, executive producer and entrepreneur has maintained a long and illustrious career.
McPherson is also still stunning, as the cover shot here by local photographer Niall Meehan proves.
