As we approach the festive season, East Coast Dance Arts (formerly Wicklow ScreenDance Laboratory) is thrilled to announce a special Open Call for professional dance artists to apply for our 2026 festival, taking place March 26th to April 1st.

This is a unique opportunity for choreographers, dancers, and dance filmmakers to present their work both on stage and screen as part of a growing celebration of dance as an interdependent system of movement, culture, nature, and community.

We are delighted to share that selected artists will receive partial funding to support their participation. However, due to limited resources, we encourage all participants to seek additional sponsorship (particularly for travel and accommodation), if needed. Our mission is to nurture and spotlight innovative professional talent that inspires audiences and challenges the boundaries of dance on screen and stage.

What We’re Looking For:
⦿ Live performance works (primarily duets, trios, or small groups) between 5–15 minutes.
⦿ You must be available to travel to Bray, Co. Wicklow for April 1st, 2026 if selected.
⦿ Please submit a video of the completed piece or a Work-in-Progress (include number of dancers and final length if WIP). YouTube (with password if needed) or WeTransfer links are welcome.
