Sunny days…
his year’s Daffodil Day coffee morning took place at Kilian House on a
particularly sunny Friday morning.
Organised by the notorious GARA gang – aided and abetted by Greystones Cancer Support – this annual fundraiser is all about helping fund both palliative care and night nursing.
Something that Greystonian Suzanne Fox Byrne has good reason to feel very strongly about.
Alongside the traditional cakes and treats there was a free raffle upon entry, plus groovy Daffodil Day items for sale. We didn’t get a list this year on that front, but we reckon you’re looking at tea towels, tote bags, mugs and thongs.
Joining this very sunny, very yellow morning for a very worthy cause was, of course, the mighty John McGowan, who caught a few daffy people shaking cans too.
You can check out his full gallery of pics here, the town’s previous Daffodil Days here, and if you couldn’t make it out the door today, you can always donate directly here.
