Farrellys Finally Show Some Heart

Another fine example of community spirit, GG was delighted to discover today that a Delgany family has sponsored the village’s first-ever defibrillator.

Situated, ironically enough, outside Farrelly’s butchers – providing fine quality meats and mild heart disease in the village since 1728 – this life-saving device has been donated to the town by the Bueck clan.

So, hats off to Natasja and Nathan Bueck, and their kids, Ayla and Ethan. Your place at the table of Elvis in the hereafter has now been reserved.

The fact that the notoriously tightfisted Farrelly brothers have supplied not only the wall but also the juice for this much-needed lifesaver just about gave GG, well, a heart attack.

Still, this new addition to the area brings the number of public access defibrillators to five, with many more available in various premises around Greystones.
