The Fighting Blindness Glendalough Trail Run is now open for registration, and you don’t have to be a fitness expert to take part.

Fighting Blindness are a patient-led charity dedicated to curing blindness, especially genetic or age-related retinal degenerative diseases. Established over 40 years ago, the charity have since grown to become the leading charity funding research into treatments for sight loss and to date have invested over 20 million in various research and clinical projects.

So if you want to help raise money for a very deserving charity while running, walking, or jogging through beautiful Glendalough – then this is most certainly for you.

There will be a 15km course as well as an 8.5km and you can tackle either of them however you wish. It’s all about participation.
