ven the smartest of us need a helping hand every now and then when it comes to putting the odd domestic wrong to rights.

And that’s where those huggable hippies at Common Ground in Bray come in.

This coming Saturday, November 24th, their Repair Café will be rescuing many a stalled bike, malfunctioning computer, wobby chair and beyond.

Here’s the spiel…

We will have experts on hand to help repair: woodwork and furniture, clothing and textiles, computer software problems, jewellery, and general non-electrical household items.
If you enjoy cycling, but aren’t too sure how to fix a puncture, we’re also holding puncture repair classes, to help you master this essential skill. No need to bring your bike unless you want to – there’ll be a test bike to practice on.

Come along with your old, broken, items to breathe new life into them; or just come along to say hi, hang out, and have a cup of tea or coffee from the market café! If you have something you’re thinking of bringing along, you can share a photo and description with us on Instagram here.
