lvis bless YouTube, throwing up not only an endless stream of desperate wanna-
bes and buried TV clips but the occasional old home movie reel that would otherwise be lost forever.
Just why someone in a plane decided it was important to film this coastal journey is hard to say, but, one thing’s for sure – HOOfeckinRAY!
So, teeth out, feet up, and banjos and bottles of stout at the ready as we all start singing the old songs about the town we once loved so well…

Great video. Some interesting changes – aside from the harbour: Redford Park looking very fresh and new, quite a few green fields close to the centre of the town that have since been built on, the tennis courts opposite the La Touche, the turntable feature in the station carpark/just at the start of the South Beach, O’Donoughue’s shop!, the Woodlands with the bar window and Cabanas, and the fields between it and the South Beach undeveloped. Don’t see the driving range – wonder what year that was installed. No sign of Charlesland Golf Club either.
