Flynnstones Take Manhattan

ang, those Flynnstones have been busy little bees of late, despite their new laidback, handstand-free, family man, grey-haired lifestyles.

Not only do they have a new book out for de Christmas, but there’s also a new award, a 130km jog this weekend for Open The Cliff Walk, and, hey, their first foray into American TV.

Which might just prove a very lucrative new market for The Happy Pear brand.

Firstly, the run, which is taking place today and tomorrow, covering the entire Wicklow Way, starting at Marlay Park at 6.30am this morning before reaching Glenmalure 12 hours later. Tomorrow, it’s off to Clonegal, in Carlow, to wrap it up.

On the awards front, the lads picked up the International Product Of The Year at the Speciality Find Food Fair Awards 2024 on the 11th, for their Red Pepper Hummus Dip & Snack.

On the book front, The Happy Pear 20: Recipes And Learning From The First 20 Years comes with a tour of de country, starting in Balbriggan on November 7th and finishing at Belfast’s Waterfront Studio on February 26th 2025.

Those who partook in the twins’ crowd investment last summer will be happy to see the lads spreading their brand to America. Hitting New York earlier this month, the boys had guest appearances on such TV shows as ratings champ Today (alongside tennis ace Roger Federer and NBA legend Steph Curry) and never-heard-of-it PIX11 News (who introduce the boys as the twin towers). It all might just be the start of a beautiful relationship…

All in all, that’s one busy September. We can only imagine how much the Flynnstones might achieve with a good Farrelly’s steak inside ’em.
