e are, of course, a town full of poets, musicians, dreamers, schemers, dancers and, of course, pretentious chancers…
And every now and then, the very brave venture beyond our borders to ply their wary souls.
Recognising that there’s safety in numbers, a triplet of local poets, Judy Russell, Rosy Wilson and Paul T Dillon, have lined up a Summers Evening of Poetry & Music at Bray’s Signal Arts Centre for June 30th.
And to ensure their safe passage for this sonnet boom, they’ve promised the locals that they will also bring with them the secret of man’s red fire.
Here’s the lowdown…
Three Lapwing Publications poets, Rosy Wilson, Judy Russell, and Paul T Dillon from Greystones will be reading from their latest poetry books, with musical interlude by musician Jonny Dillon in Signal Arts, Bray June 30th from 7pm to 9pm.
This event promises to be an inspiring and fun summer’s evening as each poet brings to life through their poems imaginative and sensitive insights into the world around us, finding magic in the mundane and the extra in ordinary.
