f there’s one thing that will get your motor running it’s knowing that there’s a mighty treat waiting for you at the end of the trail.

Just ask any donkey spending its day chasing an elusive, floating carrot.

With their goal of reconnecting women and families across Ireland with nature and the rockin’ outdoors, Galz Gone Wild recently enticed 40 hearty young ladies to a hearty day’s hike through Devil’s Glen just outside sunny Ashford.

And the reward at the end of that hike – beyond, you know, being at one with nature, and each other – was a great big slap-up meal at Camile in Greystones.

“It was great to see them all coming through the door,” says manager Jeeva, “because we knew that everyone would have a big appetite after their healthy, and thankfully sunny, day trekking through the woods.

“The Cliff Walk would normally fill that same purpose when it was open, and this fine day reminded us all of just how wonderful a walk that is for Greystones…”
