ith the angel Gabriel Dooley upping sticks for Bray, that tidy little office of his opposite Greystones Cancer Support is being put to good use.
Namely, a one-stop pop-up shop for Greystones Cancer Support cards and candles, pre-loved Christmas jumpers, festive gifts galore – and a dirty big raffle.
Perhaps most famous as Moran’s fishmongers, the owner of the building, Carl Johnston, kindly donated the space to the GCS support gang, whilst Trayton Lowe Interiors contributed time and materials to get the place looking spic agus span.
And the good news, the next resident is all ready to set up shop in 2023 too.
On the raffle front, it’s €3 per strip or €10 for 4 strips – and the prizes include a €100 voucher for The Rainforest Spa in Enniskerry, 1 night’s B&B at Druid’s Glen, an ice cream maker, a box of books from Halfway Up The Stairs, a wine & chocolate hamper by Glandore, and so much more. Swing by to get the full shebang.
Opening Thursday 8th from 10.30am, the Greystones Cancer Support Pop-Up Shop will be open 10.30am to 4.30pm Thursday to Saturday until Santa gets into town.
And just to make the festive cheer official, the gang had a formal launch on Saturday 10th – with the bould John McGowan top of their guest list…
