Goldilocks Gets The Chop For Open Door

ack in June 2020, Nicky Cox realised he hadn’t been to the hairdresser in a while.

And with a haircut plainly long overdue, he decided it was time to go under the scissors for a good cause.

Namely, Open Door, the charity founded by his equally giving and inventive grandmother, Mary Hackett.

Since then, every time those golden locks return, the lad once again sets out to raise some much-needed funds for this fine charity that helps so many people daily.

Also, the hair that Nicky shaves off today will be donated to the Rapunzel Foundation, a charity which helps people with alopecia my turning real hair into wigs.

First time out, over €2,800 was raised, and last time, it was €1,100, whilst 2025’s number is already over €3,000 here. Let’s make it €4,000!
