s the Gorteen Way development continues apace, an application to demolish the the old 1840s Georgian house at its centre has been refused.

Referring to the property by its old name of Richview House by developers Napier Ventures Ltd, the plan had been to add to the 92 houses already approved.

With four new dwellings, made up of 3 4-bed semi-detached units and 1 5-bed semi-detached unit.

And Wicklow Planning have now refused that application.

Just what that means for Gorteen House is good news for now, but developers around here have a habit of trying, trying and trying again.
