s with each and every year since it was founded in 1994, Greystones Cancer Support have had a busy 2025.

And made a huge difference to many people and families around here along the way.

We’re talking 350 clients helped with 426 counselling services, 250 group activity sessions, 122 new clients, 75 practical supports, 501 individual therapy sessions and 217 trips to the hospital.

All done by volunteers who know how important it is to have a shoulder to lean on when times get tough.

Here’s this year’s Christmas message from Anne and co…

Thank you to all our wonderful Volunteers, class facilitators and you our community who make such a difference to people’s lives here at Greystones Cancer Support.Christmas can be a difficult time for many, including those grieving a loved one lost during the year or dealing with a diagnosis.

If you need support during Christmas, please contact one of the Irish Cancer Society Nurses on 1800200700.

Their opening hours are as follows:
23rd December: 9am – 5pm
Christmas Eve: 9am – 1pm
Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st: 9am – 5pm
Reopening Friday 2nd January
