Ain’t no mountain high enough…

Ain’t no mountain high enough…
ress release from Siobhan Kennedy PR, issued on Tuesday, November 16th 2021…
Ten ladies, the majority of whom had not done Djouce before, stepped out of their comfort zone for this worthy cause and achieved personal goals while supporting a vital charity.
Kate, who offers the Nourish, Move & Shine programme to women supporting them in weight-loss goals said, “It was a great hike, a sense of solidarity for a higher purpose coupled with a personal goal for many to push outside of their comfort zone made the day a huge personal and group success. It encompasses everything my programme is about!”
Catriona, the owner of Creative Hands, a beauty salon and online shop based in Greystones, Co Wicklow said, “It just came up one day when Kate was having her eyelashes done; we knew so many women who would enjoy a group hike with no pressure. Between the two of us we decided we could start leading it for fun and charity.
“For our first hike we chose Féileacain, a not-for-profit organisation that provides support to anyone who has been affected by the death of a baby during or after pregnancy. Unfortunately, I know that so many of our clients and their families have suffered the loss of a baby. In 2018. I lost my second child Daniel at 39 weeks. Féileacain supported us from the moment Daniel was born. They provided a beautiful memory box which has become a treasured possession. They also offered counselling and support for all family members, and guided us thorough a very difficult time. I will be forever grateful to them.”
Both ladies plan to continue arranging hikes for their customers over the next year so follow them on their social media channels. Join in and push yourself outside of your comfort zone with a group who simply do it for the personal satisfaction while supporting a charity and seeing the mountains in the Garden of Ireland.
The next hike for December 2021 will be announced soon, and will take approximately three hours, including breaks, with easy to moderate hills. For more information on pampering and nutrition give the girls a follow. They are truly inspirational business women of Greystones.
