ver the years, as we’ve gathered together all the old archive photographs of Greystones, again and again, we’d stumble upon some artist’s loving portrait of the town.

From recent works by the likes of Peter Growney, Toni Smith, Ray Cranley and Brenda Malley to
Norman Teeling 2003
earlier offerings from Canadian Rick Bentham, Scotland’s Walter Bernardini and Bray head Val Byrne, this is one town 
that artists seem to love getting down on canvas.
Which is understandable. She’s got a fine South Beach. And a great pair of jetties.
Oh, and we forgot to mention that noted amateur, Jack B. Yeats.
And now, as we discovered a whole new batch of Greystones paintings earlier this week, we thought it was about time we brought them all together, on one post.

Such talented artists. Brings back great memories of my childhood in the ‘60’s. Thanks for pulling them together.
Not too many paintings of the new monstrosity. Amazing.
That’s a fantastic gathering by you Mr GG. We all enjoy the sunny blue skies but South Beach 2007 by Paula McGuinness is how I think of the Greystones seafront in it’s perfect mood. And then there’s, Greystones Beach by Tony Gunning. What a magical place we used have down there.
