reezing cold temperatures and the earth’s impending doom can make you do funny things…
Like pay €5.50 for a bale of briquettes in the Village Store.
Or grab your de-finned surfboard – or your mum’s favourite tray – and head for the slippery slopes of the Greystones Golf Club.
Better yet, why not just roll all that snow up into a large ball, or try and put the quad back in quadriplegic by skidding around like a nutter.
Yep, the second day of the much-feared Beast Of The East brought a slight sprinkling of snow all over Greystones – finally! – and this morning at least, it was a thing of beauty.
The overnight snowfall wasn’t exactly Full Narnia, being known in meteorological circles as The Irish Loverman Special. The last big snow was 2010. We think.
We’re currently compiling a gallery of everyone’s big day out in the snow, which you can view right about here, and below is just a selection of shots we took out on the streets today. You can view the full gallery right here.
