ith a whole batch of new Greystones paintings on the way, Helen at Hairy Fruit Art is one busy woman.

Especially given that her groovy greeting cards have been flying out the door.

And into letterboxes all over de world.

“It was really during lockdown that I noticed the surge,” explains Helen. “The greeting cards just took on a whole new lease of life. It was like everyone on the planet just decided to send cards to one another. It just goes to show that people really need one another, especially when we’re all becoming more and more marooned in our own little nests.”

With stockists all over the country, from Flemings in Monaghan and Adonis Flower Designers in Dublin to The National Gallery and Kilruddery, Hairy Fruit Art’s cards, prints, kitchen accessories and beyond are reaching more and more people. And given that those funky cards cover every event – including Valentine’s, Easter and Paddy’s Day – there’s one for every occasion, and persuasion.

Talking of Paddy’s, Helen also has a rather beautiful map of Ireland’s flowering counties, as well as a road trip selection of all the signature points on this fair isle of ours, from the Wild Atlantic Way to Dublin’s fair city.

Oh, and then there’s the oil paintings.
