Harper’s Hair Raiser For LauraLynn

s GG knows all too painfully well, it’s a big day when you lose all your beautiful, flowing locks.

For some though, such a move is an opportunity to do some good in the world.

Inspired by her cousin Aoibh, Harper Nolan is one such person, going under the scissors at Kudos to help raise funds for the Sunshine Home at the LauraLynn House.

Harper was also somewhat curious to know what her ears looked like.

“When I was in the hairdressers,” says the big-hearted 8-year-old, “I met a woman who had cancer a few years ago and she told me how having a wig really helped her feel better.

“She gave me a donation and the hairdressers cut my hair for free. Everyone was cheering, and it was a really great fun.”

And we’re talking a good 12 inches of hair, people. Which is very nearly an armful.
