This week, An Taoiseach Simon Harris has written directly to the Chief Superintendent of Wicklow Garda Station, Derek Hughes, regarding anti-social behaviour in Burnaby Park, Greystones.

Speaking today, the Taoiseach said, “While knocking on doors in Burnaby Park, an overwhelming number of local residents raised their concerns regarding anti-social behaviour that has been taking place in their estate over recent months.”

“I strongly believe, that everyone in County Wicklow deserves to feel safe and secure in their home.”

“Having listened to the accounts of local residents, I thought it necessary to write to the Chief Superintendent directly on this matter.”

The Taoiseach concluded, “Tackling anti-social behaviour is a high priority of mine, and I will work with, and support the Gardai however possible to help us to maintain stronger and safer communities.”
