One fine afternoon, just by The Men’s, Max and GG happened upon a young mother excitedly drawing her son’s attention to one of the rock pools… Unbeknownst to them, floating just ten feet behind them,

flat on his back, looking at the sky, was a seal.By the time we called out for them to look, naturally, the little fecker had vanished again beneath the surface – making GG look somewhat like, well, a performing seal, as we waved our arms and tried to make a sentence out of the words ‘seal’, ‘behind’, ‘there’, ‘holy’ and ‘shit’.
One of GG’s regular contributors, Brian Keeley, has been a little luckier, capturing many great shots of Ron Seal, including the beauty above. And it got us to thinking here at GG HQ – surely there are others who have been luckier than us when it comes to 
capturing this regular Greystones visitor as he pops his head above water every now and then to make another land-lubber look ridiculous.
