Max!

Max!
s is so very often the case, Wicklow County Council
have made a surprise move on Greystones today without ne’er a warning.
The dye testing was carried out by a third party in order to identify blocked drains. Wicklow County Council traced the dye to its source and issued a notification in the event that the dye was observed in the Tree Trout Stream. The dye used is a non-toxic substance. Drain Tracing Dye is used for detecting the flow of water in drains, identifying where individual drains runs into a common gully and tracing leaks in drains. For streams and rivers, dye tracing is used to provide information about underground connections, groundwater velocities, flow directions etc.
Water tracing simply involves ‘tagging’ water as it enters a system and monitoring possible exits to see where it re-emerges.
