t’s been a week of awards love for Greystones, with Brooke & Shoals and Sheena Griffin Photography both getting serious nominations for their good work.

And one that we’ve been waiting to post about is dynamic duo Tina and Annie down at The Beauty Room in Charlesland.

Having established themselves as one of the most popular in Greystones and beyond, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that The Beauty Room is a finalist for Beauty Salon Of The Year at this year’s PBJH Awards.

Which stands for Professional Beauty Hair Ireland, it says here. Go figure.

We had hoped to get a quote from Tina and Annie when we swung by on Friday but, being so dang popular, they were both working.

So, we’ll make up quotes for them.

“Jaysus, can’t feckin’ believe we’re a finalist,” says Annie. “Kick-ass!”

“Kick-ass, indeed,” adds Tina. “We’re completely and utterly feckin’ chuffed. And we feckin’ deserve to win!”
