There are those poor unfortunate pooches though who can’t quite find that love, and they tend to lash out in their own special way.

Such as barking consistently. Or worse.

If you have a dog who hasn’t quite got their flower power fully switched on, the producers of the RTE series Peataí would like to help. Their new 6-part Irish language series, Madraí Faoi Ghlas, has experts setting out to get your four-legged friend back on the happy track, with vet Ellen Hegarty and behaviourist Paula Doohan actually coming to your home.

If you feel like taking part, just send in footage of your misbehaving mutt, whether it’s an overly-pampered poodle or a temperamental terrier, a barking bulldog or a chewy chihuahua.

Sadly, we checked, and you won’t be able to nominate your neighbour’s dog. Even if you do have plenty of footage.
