Just Give Me The Lights

Dang it – we’ve just missed another chance to catch the Northern Lights over Greystones.

That Kevin’s cover shot was taken with a phone and still looks like the inside of Enya’s head after checking her bank account tells you a lot about the powerful light show on display last night.

And then, Anna O’Rourke – no slouch in the photography department – sent through a bunch of her own shots, having headed down to the South Beach after midnight to see what all the fuzzy colours were about.

“I just grabbed my phone,” says the Boat Yard Gallery curator, “and suddenly, we were standing in the middle of this incredible light show.

“Not sure my phone did the lights complete justice, but you can still see just how wonderful the night was.”
