Let’s Go Back To Nature

Local teacher and author of the seasonal guide Wicklow Bound Seán Ó Súilleabháin – man, that’s a lot of fadas – will be giving a walk and a talk on local wildlife and nature on Saturday, August 26th.

Taking place at The Castle Inn in Newcastle, the talk will centre largely on Seán’s acclaimed book, whilst the guided walk will take place around the Newcastle Fen Bird Sanctuary.

The talk will feature many images highlighting the birds and wildlife to be found in this rather beautiful county of ours.

Admission is free, with a recommendation that children under 12 to be accompanied by an adult. Those fens can turn.
