Still licking our wounds over having been misled on the possibility of the Avoca-comes-to-Greystones rumour finally becoming a reality, we’re happy to report that our call on the sexy little midget shop beside Caviston’s old place was actually spot on.
As of today – well, since Saturday, but we were distracted by the lights – it’s a Druids Glen Gift Shop.
Taking over the premises purely as a pop-up for Christmas, this retail outlet for the golf club giant situated just up beyond Kilcoole has all the bells and whistles that the golf-lover in your life could ever want.
Although, what you’re doing with a golfer as a lover is the real concern here. A golfer? Really!?
Either way, given that the little fella won’t be open every day, you’ll have to plan your tartan trouser travesty pretty well.
You can catch the guys each day up until Christmas Even, with opening times generally 10am to 6pm, with the Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays being noon to 4pm.
