ur search for the Perfect Greystones Pizza 2023 got pretty darn heated for a few weeks there, but it always felt as though there could be only one winner.

And not just because these guys won last year.

No, you could tell from the comments people were leaving that there is some real love out there for Enso and their rather tasty pizzas.

“It was the same last year,” says head honcho Tim Crooks, “but it was seeing what people had to say about Enso that really got us. We’re very keen on being just more than a pizza place, and being a part of the community is a big part of that.”

As just about anyone and everyone involved in a sports club around here will know.

“So, to see so many people responding to that, well, it’s enough to make me send some quotes on to my mum!”

Presenting Tim and the gang with their award today were Eamonn Foley, Lydia Casey and Barbara Lennox from competition sponsors Sherry FitzGerald Greystones.

“We agree wholeheartedly with what Tim just said,” nods Eamonn. “Community spirit is such an important part of any town, and we’re always happy to get involved with fun stuff like this, or our recent coffee morning for Greystones Cancer Support.

“Having said that, we are mainly here because we heard there would be free pizza…?”

Well done to all the ever-growing number of contenders this year – all of whom you can find right about here – but biggest congrats go to Tim & co at Enso.

Two competitions, two wins – that’s history in the baking right there…
