Yesterday, we hosted a regional Pi Quiz for Maths students from across the area.

A huge congratulations go to Lucas O’Sullivan, Laoise O’Gorman, Abi Breathnach and Hugh Woodley as they won their regional round and have qualified for the National Competition being held in Portlaoise on the 29th of March.

Organised by The Irish Mathematics Teachers’ Association, the annual Pi Quiz is a team competition for Junior Cycle Higher level Maths students, that National Final will take place at the Midlands Park Hotel.

Thank you to the teachers and students of Temple Carrig, Greystones Community College, Woodbrook College, St. Gerard’s and Rockford Manor for travelling out to take part in the quiz!
