Social Democrats TD for Wicklow, Jennifer Whitmore, has set up a Facebook group to collate information on L buses in Wicklow after a surge in complaints about the services.
“I’ve been hearing about problems with L buses in Wicklow since the rollout of Bus Connects last year, but there has been a serious increase in reports to my office in recent weeks,” Deputy Whitmore explained.
“Issues range from buses not following their route to buses not stopping for teenage commuters, to the more classic issues with no shows and delayed services.
I raised these issues with GoAhead and met with them today, and they inform me that the issues are being, or have been, resolved. If this is the case, fantastic, but I am still hearing from constituents about problems with the L buses, so I decided to set up a Facebook group.”
“The group is a way for me to collate information about problems regarding reliability, safety, and any other issues with L buses in Wicklow.
