ep, by a mildly overwhelming majority, the winner of this year’s Me & My Pooch competition is the lovely Georgia Doyle and the even-lovelier Floyd Pepper.

Garnering about double the votes of their nearest rivals, that many endorsements makes you realise just how many good friends our pretty boy Floyd has. Smart dog.

The prize for this prestigious title is two-fold. Firstly, the lovely Maria in Vanity Fur is going to give young Floyd the complete groom – so he can strut his proud stuff in style over the coming weeks.

Secondly, Georgia hereby has license, for one whole month, to be incredibly smug about her and Floyd being the winners of Greystones perfect Me & My Pooch Couple 2015.

This license entitles Georgia to speak for at least 1 hour non-stop at every social gathering in and around the town about just how wonderful her mutt happens to be, how much Floyd adores her, and how she feels honoured but not all that surprised at their winning the Greystones perfect Me & My Pooch Couple 2015 title.

From August 1st, 2015, both Georgia and Floyd will be limited to only one mention a week of their win for the following six months, with each mention lasting no more than two minutes. Unless, of course, the recipient of the good news specifically asks for more details on their momentous win.

Failure to comply with all or any of these rules and regulations may result in a slap on the back of the head. For Georgia, not Floyd.
