Oh! What A Beautiful Morning!

You would think, of course, that a big hello from everyone’s favourite local news source would warrant a wave, a shout or even just a smile.

Well, as GG discovered when we paid a surprise visit to the Greystones Cancer Support’s great big coffee morning today, there are some things in this world that are far more important than fame and fanfare.

Such as tea. And scones. And getting the latest town gossip from Delia Barry and that vicious Bradshaw woman.

Still, we found a warmer welcome with media mogul Kathleen Kelleher, the beautiful young Anne Bateman, and the rest of the GCS gang as we took a walkabout through their La Touche Place HQ.

Well done to everyone who hosted a coffee morning to raise money for various Hospices around the county – and we should give a special shout-out to Susan Brambell and Sharon Felton – and for those of you who couldn’t make it along, you can donate to the Irish Hospice Foundation right about here.
