t’s been a while since the Calary Filling Station in the shadow of the Sugar Loaf has seen much trade.

The last time, in fact, was when the Father Ted gang swung by to shoot an episode. Or did we dream that…?

Well, now that clever young Chantal Fortune lass has decided to open the place up as a tea room and gift shop just for Christmas.

And very fine the place is looking too.

All going well, Chantal and the live-and-knitting Calary Filling Station will be back in action next summer.

And given the yummy food and groovy gifts on offer, we reckon it’s only a matter of time.

About five months, to be precise.
