t’s a chance for everyone involved in and benefitting from the great work that
Greystones Cancer Support do each year to just sit back and have the craic.
Yep, the annual GCS Christmas Lunch is always a joyous affair.
And Sunday’s shindig proved to be just that, with music, dancing and quite a bit of hugging.
Taking place at The Parkview Hotel, Damian, Sarah-Jane, Mary and the rest of the GCS crew had plenty of reasons to be cheerful.
And to raise a glass on another year of fundraising, coaching and generally offering a shoulder to lean on through what can be, for most people, the biggest challenge they’ll ever face in their lives.
In among the dancing, the singing and the stories, John McGowan was there, with his trusty camera by his side, capturing the sunny afternoon.
Our thanks to the boy, and well done to Greystones Cancer Support on being there for so many in need of a friendly face and some sound advice.
