PJ Lynch Leaves His Mark On Greystones

o mark Irish Book Week, award-winning illustrator and author PJ Lynch paid a visit to Greystones.

Unsurprisingly, Halfway Up The Stairs was his port of call, for a little window painting magic.

The fourth Laureate na nÓg, among Lynch’s many best-selling books are his most recent, The Haunted Lake, and his upcoming new take on ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas, due on November 4th.

Having run an online vote for what PJ should actually paint on Trish Hennessy’s nice, clean window, the resounding choice was a haunted bookshop.

Naturally enough.

“It’s always fun to create something unique that will actually be out there in the world,” said PJ. “Hopefully, the kids of Greystones will get a kick out of the illustration. And, all going well, a little bit of a fright too.”
