t is, reckons Caroline, karaoke for artists, the Paint & Bubbles nights bringing out the artist in each and every person who walks through the door.

Just as all of us have a song or two that we can wail and just about nail, from Cheetah to Chagall, everyone can paint their masterpiece.

As anyone who has popped along to any of Caroline Galligan and Margaret Fitzsimmons’ fun nights out will testify.

“Again and again, we’re just amazed at what people create,” says Mags. “It must be something in the air around here – or maybe the bubbly – but when people are relaxed and having fun, you can sense it in their paintings…”

“The success of Paint & Bubbles has really taken us by surprise,” nods Caroline, as the three of us meet up at Greystones Sailing Club, one of their popular pop-ups paradises for popping corks and producing painterly pride. “As with any great art, it’s not just about what goes on the canvas but the joy of just being creative, especially with a bunch of likeminded souls on a fun night out.”

Having hosted fun night outs all over town and beyond – and ready to bring their pop-ups to a venue or event near you – Caroline and Mags will next be in action at the Greystones Sailing Club this Friday, September 26th. You can grab your ticket here. And you’d better be quick about it.
