ith that sweet summer sun tempting us all out of our caves, the Powerscourt gang have lined up something special this month.
Namely, an outdoor production of Cinderella in their walled garden.
Which, if you ask us, sounds like a pretty much perfect setting for this classic fairytale all about the servant girl who goes to the ball – and finds out it’s somewhere she truly belongs.
Happening on Saturday, June 25th, here’s the official lowdown…
Chapterhouse Theatre is performing Cinderella live in the Walled Garden at Powerscourt this June.
In an enchanted kingdom in a faraway land, magical creatures and fairy godmothers come together to tell the best-loved of all fairytales. Full of song, mirth, and joy for the summer ahead, you can join Cinderella on a journey of a lifetime to a magical ball where nearly anything is possible especially if it is before midnight.
Gates at the Walled Garden open at 2pm and the show starts at 3pm. Bring your own picnic blankets or low-backed seating. Refreshments will be available to purchase on the day of the performance from Avoca at Powerscourt.
