Sitting pretty in Delgany village, local lass Li Duggan has long proven that the pin is mightier than the sore, her 10 years in a Triple A-rated hospital in her native China followed by 10 years as a theatre nurse in the Rotunda, all the while wishing that Chinese medicince could be practiced alongside established medical procedures.

Which is why Li opened her own clinic in Foxrock back in 2019, a clinic that soon racked up over 130 5-star reviews on Google. And counting.

And with clients all the way down as far as Gorey and beyond, Li knew a Wicklow base would make sense, opening up a second clinic in Delgany at the beginning of this year.

“In my first two or three years in Foxrock, the majority of my clients were all from that immediate area,” explains Ms Duggan. “But, as word spread, so did the geography, with people travelling up the N11 from all parts of Wicklow and beyond.

“So, when this Delgany premises popped up, it made perfect sense to open here a day or two a week.

“Especially given that the clinic is just three minutes from my house…”

Now having taken over the second floor entirely, Li Duggan Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine has transformed the outside of the building too.

“I actually have three treatment rooms, and whilst I’m working flat out in two of them, we have a third available to anyone who would like to be part of spreading holistic health and wellbeing in the area…”
