Kilcoole’s Matthew Gilbert has had to settle a bill or two with Ireland’s tax authority.
With a new campaign targeting influencers, Revenue recently issued over 450 letters in relation to gifts for these much-loved and highly-valuable members of society.
And, as explained in The Irish Times today, they’re clearly making sure these young entrepreneurs keep up with their tax obligations.
Gilbert being one of Ireland’s most successful, the former barber shop owner turning during the Covid-19 pandemic to OnlyFans, where followers are charged a monthly fee for private and often explicit content.
Now living in Rathdrum (and posting regularly from the always-classy Dubai), Gilbert is behind the company Matty Irish Viking, which has an address on Dame Street in Dublin. The latter was found to have under-declared corporation tax, PAYE, PRSI, USC and VAT totalling €191,464.
