Rí-Rá Irish Lager have joined forces with Irish flavour merchants Conbini Condiments to create the perfect hot sauce to accompany cold cans.

The newly-created sRí-Rácha sauce is a distinctly Irish take on the cult Thai sauce, combining red chilli, red pepper, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar and Rí-Rá Irish lager for a hot kick with a sweet finish. Perfect on chips, nachos, chicken, veg, or your fingers. We’re still to find something this sauce won’t work well on or with.

An instant fan favourite with the Rí-Rá brewery team, the Wicklow beer has struggled to keep hold any of the super limited amount available to share.

“I was cooking a recipe one night and realised sriracha’ had Rí-Rá in there, so I figured an Irish take on the sauce using our beer could work,” said Darren at Rí-Rá. “We’re massive fans of Conbini – their Katsu Ketchup is next level – so we were delighted Holly and her team worked with us on this one.

“It’s genuinely been hard to keep some of the sauce away from the brewery team. It’s so good.”

Luckily, some of this super limited sauce escaped the clutches of the brewery staff and can be found at Belfast BBQ heroes, Rebel & Ruse, and Greystones’ favourite, Sonny’s. Whilst stocks last, of course.
