Located at the Coolnagreina campus in Greystones, Rise Bakery operates from a converted shipping container that has been transformed into a fully equipped, HACCP-approved kitchen.

This space is equipped with modern baking and food preparation equipment, where a team produces fresh, high-quality food for Rise At The Cove café.

Rise Bakery is part of Tiglin’s broader vision to provide training, education, and real work opportunities to people in its care. What began as a café on the seafront has grown into a meaningful social enterprise that focuses on supporting people through purposeful work and social inclusion.

Thanks to support from the Community Foundation of Ireland, the bakery now provides employment for three individuals. It offers structured progression to employment and education while continuing to meet the needs of the community.

Looking ahead, Rise Bakery will continue to support people engaged in Tiglin’s rehabilitation and housing programmes. It is a lasting resource for training, nourishment, and community impact.
