t was a long-awaited get-together for Bray Camera Club last night as they launched their 50th anniversary with their latest exhibition.
And the gang were just glad to be indoors for this particular birthday bash.
The venue is Bray’s Signal Arts Centre, and the exhibition will be running there and online until February 13th.
“After a year and a half of Zoom, it was great to finally meet up in person,” says Bray Camera Club chair Philip Ryan. “This is the club’s 50th anniversary, so it was great to be able to mark such an important year properly.”
Those in attendance included Una Armstrong, Anne Marie Byrne, Aongus Collins, Joe Dutton, Donal Enright, Graeme Fryer, Mick Hanney, Mathew Hurrell-O’Connor, Pat Judge, Brenda Keogh, Pat Killilea, Laura Kinsella, David McKenzie, Roisin McArdle, Malcolm McCamley, Frank McGowan, Joe McQuillan, Bill Murphy, Diarmuid O’Brien, Tony O’Connor, Sallie O’Sullivan, Craig Smoothey and Deirdre Whelan.
Oh, and dynamic duo John McGowan and Gerry Kelly, who were the designated snappers for the night.
