his week’s Farrelly File concerns a rather enterprising young farmer who happened to have, well, no farm.

Joe Murphy lived up in those fine little houses known as Crowe Abbey, running parallel for a few hundred metres on the road between Killincarrig and Blacklion.

Sweet houses, one and all, but none quite with the requisite acreage when it comes to rearing cows.

 So, what’s a poor, half-acre Crowe Abbey farmer to do…?
