On the road to Very Jolly…
ver the past few years, the night has become a firm Christmas
tradition in Killincarrig.
Despite the best efforts by the local gardaí.
Yep, every December, The Jolly Boys & Girls have a very jolly old time in The Carraig, with singalongs, carousing, rude jokes and plenty of hugs.
No matter what time it is, the night always feels like a lock-in.
And each year, they raise a big chunk of change for Greystones Cancer Support.
As you can see right here.
Last night, the latest over-sized cheque raised by the festive frolic was presented to the GCC gang, the money in the hat this year totalling a very tidy €4,428.
Well done to everyone involved. And to the mighty John McGowan, who once again captured it all.
You can check out the man’s full gallery in hi-res here, and jump back through the Jolly years right here.
