here might just have been something in the water at last night’s launch for the latest Strictly danceathon.

Might have just been overspill from all that rain, of course, given the ridiculous weather, but there was a definite madness at play too.

How else to explain the bright orange tan? The outbreak of Hawaiian shirts? The Dirty Dancing lifts to the ceiling…?

The latest Strictly to hit town is all about raising funds for Greystones Community National School, and, in particular, sensory equipment and a running track.

And that meant some of our finest dancers and prancers were in The Mollys last night, ready to get to get down to some really hard twerk.

With sponsorship from Storm Recruitment, Éire Óg Greystones and the South Beach Clinic, the big night is Friday, November 24th, at The Parkview Hotel, with doors at 7pm and kick-off at 8pm.

How much the tickets are, or how to get your hands on them, the Toolan lass who dragged our no.1 snapper across town during Storm Babet for some free Friday night work forgot to tell us.
