Nobody beats his meat…

e can’t be entirely sure, but the steaks may indeed have been high as Des Doyle Butchers celebrated 30 years in business this weekend.

It’s there in the looks, the glances, the licking of the lips, the thousand yard stares…

There’s definitely something psychedelic afoot here, and we wouldn’t be surprised if more than a few of them will be experiencing cold turkey the morning after.

Then again, maybe everyone was just excited and delighted for Des, given that 30 years in any business is quite the achievement.

Especially given that these days you can buy a full cow for €10.99 at Lidl.

With his customers aplenty swinging by to say happy birthday – and, of course, grab some free grub from the Spice O’ Life stall – Des’ fellow Tesco shopping centre retailers were quick to get a hug in for a celebratory snap too.

Congrats to Des, and all the staff, on building up the kind of loyal following that even Trailer Swift would be jealous of.
