The White Stuff

t’s been a surreal 24 hours for Greystones, with pretty much all four seasons in one day and a good old-fashioned 1970s blackout to boot.

And if the sun hasn’t been exactly high summer, it was enough this afternoon to melt much of the morning snow.

A morning snow that turned the town a brand new shiny white, just to contrast those three hours of total blackout the night before.

Is it any wonder we’ve all been driving to scoops around here?

If not quite the winter wonderland we enjoyed for five days back in March 2018, it was still beautiful to see Greystones with a brand new lick of paint.

And catching much of it this morning was Redford resident Louis Duffy Barrett, who sent in these sweet pics. Bar the crappy mattress one. That’s ours.
