She’s got rhythm…

Running for eight weeks, the new Samba Drumming Workshop for kids got underway this weekend at the Charlesland Community Centre.

And the groovy John McGowan was there to capture all the hits. And misses.

Presented in partnership with Music Generation Wicklow, the project is designed to offer kids ‘a fun and novel activity in their own estate’. Couple that with the fact that the samba is a kick-ass beat to learn, and you got yourself a fine way to wile away a Friday evening.
