Hi there
Re “think of the teenagers” article. I think it is remiss of the greystones guide to allow a picture of a teenager holding a hand gun in promoting such a fantastic initiative for teenagers in Greystones. Promoting and dipicting a lethal weapon or violence aimed or about teenagers. Is it a gangsters den or a safe space for teenages that needs support in the local community? This is in shocking disrespect to teenagers, their families and the efforts of the cafe. Very dissapointing.
Thanks for that, Mrs Lovejoy. An image of a bored, teenage Leonardo DiCaprio on the set of Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 modern retelling of Romeo & Juliet is hardly an invitation to gun violence in Greystones. But, if that’s the way you want to see it, knock yourself out. Just remember to always – always! – THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!
